Actually they weren't hurt too badly.. both teams in LA
weren't doing well, and the screwball TV contract rules
(must carry the home team, and if a team is playing at home,
you only see one game, and blackouts if there is no sellout)
actually benefit the fans in LA.
The fans in LA now enjoy better football on TV than they did
when the Rams and Raiders were in town.

Yes ... a lot of people aren't aware that the English soccer
league "The FA Premiership" actually REDUCED the number of
member clubs from 22 to 20 ? In any event they dropped two
teams. Also if a club does poorly (finishes in the bottom
four of the lowest division) they are subject to explulsion
from the league.
