Well, I saw an interesting light engine move today, possibly a glimpse into 
the future: Conrail, Conrail, C&NW, UP, NS. Two mergered companies right 
there,  
possibly another in the future?  
Has there been a "complete, and official, final" renumbering of SP and CNW 
units 
into UP yet? I see reports and then a month later there are corrections to 
it.  
Can't wait to see how CSX and NS divvy up Conrail's power. Should be sort of  
like choosing up sides for a sandlot baseball game. Each wants all the choice 
 
stuff, (SD60's, Dash 8's, etc) and who ends up with the scrawny little kid 
with 
thick glasses (B23-7's, etc)?
