Well, Ben. Let's see. If you don't know what a 12ax7 is it may be
difficult to explain. A 12ax7 was a vacuum tube used in radios and
electronic equipment before transistors came out. I think MZ above was
attempting to make a humorous remark! Something along the line of "My
other car is a Model T Ford." Now I hope you know what a Model T Ford
is.  And as to the definition of a 12ax7, as far as I recall it is
a dual triode miniature vacuum tube.
