Exactly.  We only tried one (reputable) brand, and it was shit.

The motherboard itself.  They were Chiconys, and didn't like a mixture of
30/72 RAM, even though they were purportedly meant to take it.

We were sent some evaluation simverters, but the ones we got didn't work
real well either.  Might have been earlier models, although there ain't
much on them to fuck-up, just a few ceramic caps.  With RAM so cheap now,
who'd bother?
