GR> mem[vidseg:(160*(x-1)+2*(x2))+1]:=8; GR> type of thing... however, VP uses 32-bit flat memory... any idea how I'm GR> supposed to change this so that I can access specific parts of the video GR> memory in console apps? Any help would be appreciated... thanks! Seeing as OS/2 also doesn't allow programs access to the video 'segment,' you're in a bind, eh? :-) What it seems you have to do, and I'm trying to figure it out myself, is use the OS/2 VIO API. If you can get the documentation, functions to look at include VioGetBuf and VioShowBuf - you can do your updating like graphics are done - in the background - and then update the screen later. However, I'm still trying to figure out exactly how to use them. :-/ --- Maximus/2 3.01* Origin: Tanktalus' Tower BBS (PVT) (1:342/708) SEEN-BY: 50/99 78/0 270/101 620/243 711/401 409 410 413 430 808 809 934 955 SEEN-BY: 712/407 515 517 628 713/888 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 342/708 5015 61 3615/50 396/1 270/101 712/515 711/808 809 934 |
