You said that I should check the warranty on the drive, which
I forgot to do, but I don't think I had a great number of
choices anyway, but I rang him again, and he said "2 years"
followed by "maybe more, I don't know".  Considering he also
didn't know whether the drive was 2 gig or 2.5 gig, I'm not
really sure what happens there anymore.  Anyway, he said I
could return the disk to Quantum or him, Quantum prefers you
go through the dealer first.  BFN.  Paul.
