A vet mentioned to me that it is a case of "some horses get it, and
some don't". When taking a horse off of Alfalfa and putting them on Oat
Hay, I guess I don't understand...are they growing the "hay" in
different locations? Is it becasue the Alfalfa has a higher protein,
or is that not the problem? I hve also been told that in San Diego
county there are different locations within the county that have higher
percentages of problems. I assume its where the Feed store gets there
shipments from? Not sure on that one?
