 I was thinking about dumping a copy of the *.mo0 file into a 
 directory, each according to its day of the week. But since I'm 
 the only one experiencing this problem with TPOINT/Telix, the 
 problem lies elsewhere, not with the software.

 Could be the cable, but would this account for the occasional 
 unsuccessful negotiation of modem control between our modems ?
 
 I'll try another cable in a day or so.
