Paul,
Use your favorite terminal program and dial 1-888-877-9248
When it answers, press  ENTER
at the first name prompt,  type Line Test  then press ENTER
In a few seconds, you should see a response that tells whether or not
your connection would support a X2.
If you press ENTER again, you see a whole page of test parameters
that are interesting.
One thing to remember...This does not mean that your x2 or K65Flex will
work with your favorite ISP.  Only the current connection between
you and USRs test BBS.
FYI,I tried it will all of my lines and NONE of them support it. Guess
I'll save the money and wait for ASDL.
