I've never seen the problem you mentioned and I have been using FMail and
FM together for almost a decade.

If I remember correctly, even when I was using the shareware version
unregistered some time back it did put the initials in the quoted text...
Tommorow is Sunday and I'm not doing much so I could possibly install it on
another machine to to see if it is indeed the editor itself that is causing
that, but I doubt it is.  Maybe just an overlooked setting... looking at it
tommorow will probably shed the light.
