My point exactly. Where did the fault lie, with him or with the
rest of the country? Who was it had to change?

And where does the fault lie with Arachne's inability to access
some FTP servers? (a) with Arachne? or (b) with the rest of the
world? Who should have to change?

Nope. Arachne won't work at all with those servers, with or
without tweaking. I have had to go to an external client.

Well, at least I can upload now, although it took one hell of a
lot of trials and dead ends to do it.

I would have been happier if all that work hadn't been necessary,
or if it really had been just a matter of tweaking Arachne.
