PE> I'm a bit worried about the RAM too, I've looked through
PE> AUST_TRADING, doesn't seem to be a large number of buyers.

RS> Its almost entirely sellers, few advertise wanteds. I'll
RS> have a look at the prices in the latest Computer Market
RS> mag too, if they aint in here, it means I have forgotten.

RS> Its well worth buying when you are buying hardware, its only $2
RS> A useful mix of the cheaper retailers and some second hands too.

why not try the trading post. a big audience, and all in sydney, no worries
about sending the stuff interstate. this week, the cheapest price for 16
megs (presumably 72 pin) is $370

PE> I have:
PE> 1. 486-33 VLBus motherboard
PE> 2. Adaptec 2842
PE> 3. 16 meg in 4 meg 30-pin SIMMS [if sold real soon]
PE> 4. 4 meg in 1 meg 30-pin SIMMS

what do you want for the 2842 (and i could arrange a loan of a 1542 that
would plug into an isa slot of your new motherboard for data transfer).
