Hi Michael,

ML> My experience outside the Phoenix metro is
ML> pretty limited, I-10 and 17 mostly. Never
My sister moved there the year after we moved to AZ. Deborah moved up
there (from Sierra Vista) the year after she got back from deployment
(2004) while we were in HI. She's stayed in the general area so we're
still in the greater Phoenix area from time to time.
ML> been on US89 at all, let alone into Utah.
It's a really pretty drive. After we crossed into Utah, we saw signs for
a German bakery some miles ahead of us. We stopped there--out in the
middle of nowhere--and had a late morning munchy.

ML> I'd have thought they'd refined TENS units
ML> beyond that point. The lack of shielding is
ML> especially peculiar, hazardous even.
I'm going to e-mail my dr and let him know that I can't use it.

ML> I keep reminding myself that redundancy is

No, not usually.

ML> I'd strew a quarter ounce of lettuce on my
ML> plate and call it salad - might not eat it
ML> anyway though.

It works. (G)

ML> It's hard to find a recipe using unground
ML> meat, but the following could be adapted.
ML> I'd say to make a facsimile of bakkwa the
ML> meat should be partially frozen and then
ML> cut thin as sheetlike as possible. It
ML> would also want to be quite a bit sweeter
ML> for Chinese New Year purposes.
ML> Mala Beef Jerky (Mala Niu Rou Gan)

OK, something to think about. New Year's celebration is coming up, isn't
it?
