Tom Walker wrote in a message to Charles Angelich: -> If those who produce music and movies get too greedy people -> will just stop using their products. No one will die from not -> seeing the next "James Bond" movie. We may turn to animation -> for our movie viewing and that is getting to be so very good it -> may just push 'live' movies out of the theaters. TW> I am NO longer sure of that Charles. People are alarmingy Adicted TW> to Rental Movies. I for one though have NEVER rented one myself. I have, though not often, and more often than not when we did it wasn't my idea. :-) TW> And in fact I am concidered Strange and out of Step. I remember well one time when I went to visit some friends in Baltimore. Took my granddaughter along, and she was all of about 5 or 6 at the time. And when we got there she thought that the living room was rather strange, in that it had no tv in it. :-) I know a few people like that. Not near enough, mind you... TW> But that has never bothered me. :-) :-) Me either. TW> Now I do have a VCR for Time Shifting things I might want to watch TW> to MY Schedule instead of theirs. Right. And since you don't have to sit there and watch the commercials at normal speed, it actually takes *less* time than it would if you didn't do it that way. And since we've all got only so much time, not wasting it strikes me is kinda nifty. ---* Origin: TANSTAAFL BBS 717-838-8539 (1:270/615) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 270/615 150/220 379/1 106/1 2000 633/267 |
