I have,  though not often,  and more often than not when we did it wasn't
my idea.   :-)

I remember well one time when I went to visit some friends in Baltimore. 
Took my granddaughter along,  and she was all of about 5 or 6 at the time. 
And when we got there she thought that the living room was rather strange, 
in that it had no tv in it.  :-)

I know a few people like that.  Not near enough,  mind you...

Right.  And since you don't have to sit there and watch the commercials at
normal speed,  it actually takes *less* time than it would if you didn't do
it that way.  And since we've all got only so much time,  not wasting it
strikes me is kinda nifty.
