This is from the latest issue of McWeekly:
"OWners took another step toward the elimination of superstations
during their recent meetings in Scottsdale, Ariz., when they
approved Time Warner's plan to convert WTBS from a superstation
to a basic cable channel. WTBS will not be able to collect fees
from cable systems and must cut the number of Braves telecasts
from 124 to 96. Under the new plan, MLB will collect more from
WTBS in rights fees than the estimated $15 million it receives
from WTBS through a superstation pool. ESPN and Fox still must
approve the deal."
