The one I saw (my dad built) had a total of maybe 10 elements on it?  2 quad, 
and 6 yagi?  I can't remember...

Sounds about the right time-frame.  It was included in the ARRL Handbook in 
either '78 or '79... carried there for about 4 or 5 years, and then dropped 
out, for whatever reason.

What did you use for a phasing stub?
