You create a fake net area - like pick a number 9:999/999 or something....
In the "netmail" for that area you set the USENET flag, which
enables an extra line in the mailto requester entitled "Email:"
The 9:999/999 "netmail" area becomes your personal email area,
all newsgroups appear as "echomail" groups under that net area.
Netgate will respond to the 9:999/999 group (after you alter it's config)
and gate the "netmail" and "echomail" as email and
newsgroups.
You can use any number you choose - just as long as it's the same in Spot
and Netgate.
I think the usenet thing is in the "area" config - not system
config. It's actually in the online help somewhere...
Hmm.. it's not the usenet thing, well check the docs - there is a way to
set it so the email requester comes up :)
Oh, and btw, don't crunch/pack your mail ;-)
Ok! I just found it :) Had to have a look around :)
In your Userlist settings, set up the "gateway" as Netgate
(name), then the email requester will work in your email (netmail) replies
:)
