Hello Claus!
Quoting Claus's message:

 RB>> call (load) AUTOEXEC.BAT first.

 CM> What if you haven't specified the right path to your 4dos.ini in the
 CM> shell statement?

Sorry, but I am not that dumb!

The 4DOS.INI file and/or the SHELL statement in CONFIG.SYS would be the first
place that I would check for wrong path statement and/or wrong filename...

I even tried placing the filename (as well as complete path) in both 4DOS.INI
and in CONFIG.SYS without success:

    In 4DOS.INI:

        AutoExecPath = C:\4DOSEXEC.BTM

    In CONFIG.SYS

        SHELL=C:\4DOS\4DOS.COM C:\4DOS @C:\4DOS\4DOS.INI /PC:\4DOSEXEC.BTM

The next time, please read the previous messages before you decide to give such
stupid advice...

Sincerely, Raymond Beriau.
