The same as the signals from lighthouses along coasts are also Morse-identifiers.
But who is still using them in times of satellite navigation and beacons
dependant of a carrier-signal on a particular frequency rather than a
morse-signal which may/will be distorted?
I've had plenty rides in cockpits of commercial airliners and Morse in not
a single instant was an element of flight-progression.
