Saying something does not make it so. Avatars (if the term
actually defines a definable) might well have soul functions
or even more complex equivalents. Reaching through the HOLODECK
options, nothing can be ruled in or out. If you are goin to
present limits this early into explorations, it would amount to
placing a govener on the "deck". The Egyptians defined seven
souls (though I can only remember the 3 or 4 most common ones).
The concepts into working form critters need be a virtual of
options (at least until Holodeck reasoning would *SUGGEST*
otherwise limitations one could live with).

Your Holodeck may propel your insights some beyond "limited reality"
How would we measure the length and wealth of what might be
conceptualizable? Too much could blow a fixed mental capacity.
Would the "deck" provide our greater personal capacity or must
it be set to primitive functioning? ....how to measure measure?

Though we would disagree from time to time , and You would
sometimes loose me , I do appreciate those that reach into
the near unknown. .....where straight lines and evidence are
lean. Mr Brown! you ARE the only person I've run across on a
bbs that has presented an original reality search engine designed
to quest and define itself.
