Naw, all they  did was stick a tool in the little slot and adjusted the 
well,
they never took the cap off.
I DID though, and it looke grreat under there. The springs look new, 
ctually,
but if the weights are binding while the engine's running, (even though i 
could move them no problem) 
well, thats entirely possible.
Should i wiggle the shaft back & forth to check for wear?  it's got 130K on 
it...
