>>> REBOOT
> BK> Superman (WB)
> BK> Batman (WB)
> Ah, yes...and I even break down and watch these.
I got hooked when the first set of Batman came on.. very well done. In fact
rent the movie they did "Phantasm".. Late at night at a local station we all
peridoically get together and periodically watch movies.. one night they put
on the last Batman movie (tape) and we watched it for about 15 minutes..
Since I knew there was also had the animated movie on CD, we put it on. The
animated movie was 100% better.. and actually had a resonable plot and
writing! :)
There's a dynamic to the animated Batman that I like, it's "dark" and has
a nice mix of the 30's, 40's and 90's. Superman is not as good, although it's
still exceptional for what gets out there these days. This past year they've
farmed out a lot of the animation to Japan.. and then slightly changed the
look.. not quite a good.. sadly. :/
BTW Cartoon Network (HB/TURNER/WARNER BROS) will be getting Batman the
animated series next year. The WB channels are still occasionally getting new
episodes of "Batman and Robin"
> BK> SPINER GARGOYLES
> New one to me, but sure!
He played the mischievous entity for another dimension that got stuck as
Frakes sidekick in human form.. was to long ago.. I can't remember. He is
there to keep an eye on Frakes' charactor and his wife's baby.
> BK> The fellow that plays "Q" Johnny Quest (Benton
> BK> Quest)
> John DeLancie...took over from George Segal in the role.
Yep, once he lost the silly accent.. he was better then Segal. It was a shame
they produced the two years of it with such pitiful animation. :/
The CGI was fun.
