Well, most of 'em around here can spell "Onan" and that's the extent of
their knowledge.  I do have a good friend who services a lot of RV's and
he's good with the li'l boogers, but detests all the proprietory
electronics that they need to operate.  I've built several replacement
boards for the contollers etc.  They use cheap relays and the vibration
kills them.  More than anything else, they power the window ACs in the
RVs.
They're not a good source of HomePower info.
