RB> And think about how long it would be until you could save
RB> even $1 million dollars.
No one is going to save a million dollars but I expect
to make that much in about five years. In ten years I
expect my net worth to be between ten and thirty
million. And no one has given me a DAMN thing. I
started with a strong back and a brain and the
willingness to work and sacrifice.

Not quite nothing, you aren't going to get taken out to
dinner by the BoD but there is something that most
people don't know. You have the right to attend the
shareholders meeting and to speak to the meeting. IOW,
with this share you can tell the people who own
thousands of shares what you think and how you think
the company should be ran. Will it make a difference?
It has before of course it has failed before.
RB> revealing. The very fact that someone gets paid $4.25 an

RB> quite a disparity, wouldn't you say? Where does the minimum
Yes. What about the baseball player who is making. . .
say $6 million a year and the peanut vender who is
making $4.25/hr, quite a disparity, wouldn't you say?
Now why does one get $6 mill a year and the other
$4.25? Could it be because there are thousands upon
thousands of people who can sell peanuts but less then
1000 that can play MLB.
RB> wager stand
At the bottom rung of a long ladder and he better start
climbing if he ever wants to be anything but a worker.
RB> I cannot see how it is any different than the age of
RB> monarchs.
Look a little harder.
1) Then, a common man could not own land; now, anyone
who can come up with the money can own land.
2) Then, what ever class you were born into that's the
class you stayed; now, you can go from poor
sharecropper parents to a multi-millionaire or you can
go from a multi-millionaire to homeless.
3) Then if you said that the king had b.o. you could
wind up dead; now, you can say that Bill Clinton is a
dope smoking, skirt chasing, draft dodging, lying,
adulterer and have people agree with you.
4) Then, if you were found with any type of weapon you
were put to death; now (as of today), you can go out
and buy almost any weapon you want.
5) Then, if you were arrested you were tossed in the
dungeon until someone remembered you were there (if you
weren't hung, beheaded, disembowel, etc); now, if you
are arrested there is a system that protects you (most
of the time)
There are many, many others but you should get the idea
Remember: Freedom isn't Free!
