Quoting Jonathan Fingas to Joe Siegler
JF> It's a sprite with good ol' Luke hanging upside-down, and when you
JF> step into the sector he's in Duke says "now THIS is a Force to be
JF> reckoned with!" It pays to discover (TM). I also noticed a reference
JF> to 2001. But how come I didn't hear "Thus Spake Zarathustra" when I
JF> spotted the monolith? And, how come you didn't jab Descent? That
JF> almost equalled Doom's popularity. Surely there could've been a
JF> "you're going down... all the way down!" speech. :-)
Where did you get Thus Spake Zarathustra from? I know what the
book is, but why would it have anything to do with the monolith?
Here's the references I've found, but I can't remember where they
all were:
Doomed Space Marine - Episode 1 behind the altar
Luke Skywalker (in Wampa cave!) - Episode 2 cave near a huge pit
Indiana Jones - Episode 3 (Hotel Hell level?) Behind pool waterfall
Squished Terminator - Episode 3 secret (Freeway?)
2001's Monolith - Episode 2, near end
I thought these were pretty funny, good for a few laughs.
"That's one Doomed space marine"
"We meet again Doctor Jones!"
