you will notice that Stephen king has a tendency to keep the familiar for his 
readers.i think thats why we get caught up in his books.Hekeeps places and 
names that are familiar to us going on in different books to keep the link.On 
the SKEMERs site on thenet..there are literally hundreds of connections i 
never noticed til other readers and fans pointed them out.A lot of characters 
are related too.
