I can see your point, and a change of MB was something that I would have to
consider if I wanted to expand my RAM.

The main problem id that it has no 30 pin slots, which means I would have
to sell my 8x 1meg 30 pin, and purchase 72 pin  stuff to get going again.

I think that if I go down the new MB route I would be looking for PCI and
not Vesa, and probably  a SH board thet had both 30 72 pin memory slots.
