i have a win95 machine on my network that has a - (hyphen) in it's name. ie: 
box-42  is this a valid netbios name for that machine??
the problem is when i'm using netscape/2, i cannot get it to save files onto 
any of the drives located on that win95 box.

in fact, in netscape/2, i am unable to save anything to a mapped drive on any 
of the win95 machines... NONE of those machiens are using FAT32. this OS/2 
box is all HPFS.
i'm running Warp 3 with no fixpacks. my netscape/2 has the following 
time/date stamps...
    6-24-97  18:19       2,559,495           0  NETSCAPE.EXE
i have no problems saving the files to one of my local drives and then moving 
it across the network but that shouldn't have to be...
thoughts? questions? suggestions?
