Hi Michael,

ML> I distrust those who pull out a plum and say
ML> "what a good boy am I."
There are times you get the urge to strangle someone?
ML> Being smart or rich or well endowed or beautiful is
ML> one thing, but reminding people of it all the time
ML> is a red flag as well as a constant irritation.
We brought down my sister good one time--she was bragging about living
in a gated community. At the time we were living on post--I just said
that we do too, and ours is also guarded--with armed guards. It took a
moment to sink into her brain and then she started sputtering........

ML> before > we do anything" opinion? You could be waiting half of forever
ML> then.
ML> Why? It was basically an experiment with equipment
ML> that was not designed with my condition in mind
It has to be tried on someone.
ML> (nothing has been, as there's little call for it).
ML> The common complications didn't happen - infection,

I didn't have any of those either.
ML> and the resultant vision was several orders of

ML> as they say, would just annoy the pig.
Ergo, "just live with it". Bummer but some vision is better than none.

As you wish..........................

ML> Intermittent reinforcement, then.
Not reallyy good for anything.

ML> > I know, but I'm more tuned in to looking for whole wheat products.
ML> You wouldn't find any such thing in Japan,
ML> except maybe in a store for Americans. Not
ML> that all inauthentic abominations taste bad,
ML> as I noted to Weller.
Or make my own, as I do with regular bread crumbs.
ML> > ML> > Who's he? His chili doesn't sound that impressive IMO.
ML> > ML> Dunno. Famouser'n me, I guess. The chili has
ML> > ML> too many tomatoes and too few spices in it.
ML> > Definatly needs some work to improve it.
ML> Get rid of most of the tomatoes at least.
ML> If the chili powder was respectable, not
ML> much else need be done to it. Lots of ground
ML> hot pepper and garlic maybe.
Or, just ditch that chili and start over from scratch.

ML> No doubt. What's really clear is that they
ML> were served more in one meal than the poor
ML> got their hands on in a week. It's unlikely
ML> they ate all that they were served, with
There were a lot of people at the court but still there was probably a
lot more food left over than the commoner saw in a week.
ML> leftovers going to the kitchen staff, the
ML> servants, the domestic animals, and the
ML> poor, probably in that order.
Sounds logical, tho sometimes the poor might have ranked above the
animals.
