subject: Following trunks

-> I've heard it's possible to follow a trunked system if you have
-> the freqs set up right in the scanner. I don't quite understand.
-> Would somebody give me a real-life example please?
The ONLY way to 'follow' a conversation on a trunked system is to have a
flexible finger handy. On a small (5-8 channel) system it's easy to
follow stuff. On a 10+ channel system, especially in a busy area, it's
really hard to keep up with the channel changes.
