NP> $335 is terrific with me!!!
NP> Pay the insurance and I'll refund you for insurance and the postage.

I will take you up on the insurance, as I've suddenly got a bit
worried about the insurance. Even in a padded envelope, how am
I meant to prevent the postman from dumping one of Kerry Packer's
gold bricks that he has posted on top of my padded envelope? And
if the postman folds my envelope, what is the best orientation I
should use to put the chips in the envelope?

NP> It's worth insuring if you see the condition in which some packages arrive.

Hmmm. I was planning on insuring myself, but I really need to know
the odds of the postman stuffing up, to know whether $10/$400 is a
better risk. And I just don't imagine a gentle, caring postman.
Certainly the one that folds my floppy disks in half to get them into
my stupid letterbox isn't.

NP> I cant see any reason why they wouldn't work, if they were OK in your
NP> machine, and you are earthed while you are handling them.

Sure, but I am happy to carry that presumed-small risk.

BTW, you said you had 8 * 1 meg simms, didn't you? For you to
handle the 4 * 4 meg, you need to either ditch 4 * 1 meg, or you
need a motherboard with 4 banks (I had such a motherboard at one
stage). If the latter, do you want to do a deal with the 4 * 1
meg (70ns as well)? BFN. Paul.
