Dia,
DS> Oh lord...what kind do you have..snakes that is...is there anything that
DS> repels them?
I was told to use moth balls. I figure that it would take 100 boxes to
surround two acres with little balls.
DS> Oh yes..those lovely little creatures...we have them too and every
ummer
DS> I am forever getting into the nests that you don't see and do
DS> gardening..they seem to be getting more venemous...now their bites leave
DS> craters and scars..they've been getting into the house lately guess
DS> they're food supply is getting slim out there...there's nothing like
DS> panicing when you see this long line of hungry ants wandering into the
DS> bird room...
Do your fowl have free range of the yard. If not then put dursban around the
house. I have always dusted my avairies and flights with 10% Sevin dust. It
repels the ants for about two weeks then I start again.
DS> Have you considered a large moat around the birds (grin)....actually too
DS> bad youcouldn't do that..it probably would work for a lot of the nasty
DS> things...
Unfortunately, snakes, ants, and mice can swim. Then we would be back to the
original topis of mosquitos breeding on the moat. Ahhh, but there are
goldfish. What a cycle.
