I've got no idea - but I'd like to know as well :-) I ended up using a
separate setup procedure from inside my program...
Any ideas, anybody?

I think there are a couple here (Black Ice). It may be a bit of a large
phone-bill, though (it's in Guernsey - 01481 37156/37256).

No idea :-)
While I'm here, I've finally worked out how to use the Comms port from
lphi:
1. You've got to set up the port before using it. You'd expect Windoze to use
the settings from the Control Panel, but it doesn't.
2. Open the port using CreateFile, store a handle.
3. Write whatever you want using WriteFile,
4. Check for characters using a ClearCommError command - it stores it in
cbInQue.
5. Read the characters with ReadFile.
6. Close the port with CloseHandle(handle).
It's fairly simple, but the first point had me stumped for ages.
Cheers,
