The OS/2 Warp for Windows (red spine) package released in October 1994,
XR_3000, was superseded by OS/2 Warp for Windows (red spine) Manufacturing
Refresh, XR_3002, at the same time OS/2 Warp with WIN-OS/2 (blue spine) was
released. The effect is to make all of the current workstation releases of
OS/2 run on the same base of code.

The following is based on kernel 8.162:

  XR_3000 Warp for Windows

The following are based on kernel 8.200:

  XR_3001 Warp with WIN-OS/2
XR_3002 Warp for Windows Manufacturing Refresh
  XR_3003 Warp with WIN-OS/2 Connect
XR_3004 Warp for Windows Manufacturing Refresh Connect

The following is based on kernel 8.240:

  XR_3005 Warp with WIN-OS/2 Server

RG> XR0P016 (Printer FixPack 16) is the latest Printer Drivers

Properly, these are XR_W017 and XR_WP16. These contain only fixes to the
base operating system and multimedia extensions (XR_W017) and to the
presentation driver subsystem (XR_WP16). In particular, these do not
contain fixes to the networking components of Warp Connect, which are
available separately as fixes IC10427 (Telnet LOGIN.EXE conflicts with
NetWare LOGIN.EXE), IC10653 (SNMP), IC11173 (TCP/IP from DOS
sessions/Netscape browser support), IC12289 (32-bit socket interface), and
so on.

FP17 brings any of the above packages to kernel 8.241 if it is a concern.

These really are not programming questions appropriate for the OS2PROG
echo, but I think it is important to correct any mistaken information
before it spreads too widely.
