Not if you have a h/w mouse pointer. Could you mention one adapter which
is OK in you opinion? I have tried ATI Graphics Pro Turbo, various S3
cards and now Matrox Millenium and they all have a problem with a jerky
mouse pointer. The scrolling performance of my Millenium is H I G H, but I
still get a jerky pointer.

This must be due to a design fault somewhere in the OS. When one has a h/w
mouse pointer there should be no "jerkiness".
