| subject: | Running external programs |
Hi All...................:-) Due to some problems with my mail feed, we missed a couple days worth of mail so am not sure if anyone has (or is going to) reply to my previous message concerning syntax for running external programs. Anyways, here is the outline again just in case.................... I am a newbie to C programming, am using EMX v.09b for learning etc. I would like to tinker around with making an interface that would call (run) external programs such as PKzip, ARC, LHA etc etc. (Old hat to many I'm sure but I thought it might be interesting and provide me with a good learning experience.........I hope! ) Anyways, my books don't seem to mention how to go about doing this. Any suggestions folks? :-) --- Sqed/32 1.00/r15155* Origin: T-Shirts 'N Genes BBS - (604) 748-3408 v32b v42b XA CM (1:340/204) SEEN-BY: 50/99 78/0 270/101 620/243 711/401 409 410 413 430 808 809 934 955 SEEN-BY: 712/407 515 517 628 713/888 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 340/204 1 351/1 153/752 716 920 270/101 712/515 711/808 809 934 |
