From your "Tag line" you are in California, I'm way way up in Portland
Oregon, although I would love to go get the distributor (and visit
CA) it is a bit of a drive for me.
I've been using Autolite's for a long time and they seem to work. I've got a
350 engine with '487 heads that makes lots of horsepower. I don't know how
much but it tosses around my '68 Impala 4-door and throws you back against
the seat when you take off. Anyway my question is what number of Autolite
spark plugs should I use? I've got #25's in there right now.
The plug wires are a couple of months old, they made a huge difference and
made a significant increase in power. They are fine.
Friend of my Dads has either a 64 or 65 El Camino with a 12:1 compression
283 in it. Drives really nice.
