Okay, and so who says that wasn't one of the reasons? I can think of all
kinds of other reasons myself...like not recording 8 hours of traffic going
by or something like that? If people would just THINK before they jumped to
wrong conclusions....sigh..

What you think (or I think) would or wouldn't happen in court is beside the
point. Let the courts make those decisions, let the cops decide how they are
going to collect evidence....just as they let you decide how to make your
decisions in your line of work.
Assumptions from a person who doesn't know what they are talking about is
always a sad thing...
