1237c4312113 tech Hello Roy - --8<--cut CA>> btw: My brother insisted I let him poke my finger a few CA>> days ago. He is a diabetic after his heart surgery. The CA>> medication for thinning the blood seems to always push CA>> people into diabetes? RJT> We have one family member here who has both high blood RJT> pressure and diabetes. She's convinced that it was the RJT> beta blockers that pushed things in that direction, for RJT> whatever that's worth... Mine is just a casual observation of over one-half century watching as each person put on blood thinners suddenly 'discovers' they are a diabetic within a short time following the blood thinner medication. CA>> Anyhow I had just finished a can of Cola (no breakfast) CA>> and it came up 115. He said it can go to 140 and still be CA>> OK. RJT> Seems to me that it's still something worth keeping an eye RJT> on. You mentioned difficulties with your eyesight? That's RJT> one symptom. You are definitely correct and I am 'watching' those symptoms. Another observation of my half-century the coloring of the eye begins to soften if diabetes is affecting the eyes. I force myself to look in the mirror even when not shaving. :-) As I have mentioned, I used to work very long hours. While working over 3000 hours per year there were some several weeks in a row that I would work 80-100 hours per week. Naturally I drank an above average amount of coffee in those years to remain conscious. I also smoked more, in part due to the coffee, and both caffeine and nicotine eventually harden the lens of the eye. Old(er) age doesn't help much. :-\ > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ ___ * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
