anyone of value with good negotiating skills can get almost anything
they want. if you are good, it is a sellers market, if your boss wont
give it to you, then you just go to someone who will.

no need to put in all the detail rod, just get the broad picture right.
demonstrably you couldn't even do that. i included the detail coz you
purport to be able to understand that sort of thing, obviously you lie.
i suppose that if your understanding of the principles of ide is so poor
that you dont even know that both drives have active controllers, it is
a waste of time to try and discuss the more technical details with you.
just stick to downloading the jumper details off the manufacturer's bbss
and impressing the technically challenged. if you keep away from the
techo stuff you may retain just a little credibility.
