Paul, at 12:40 on May 10 1996, you wrote to Bill Grimsley...

Sorry if I gave you a shock, but it was a fairly simple question, and I'll
be polling more than once a day for a bit longer until I'm sure that the
Courier is performing as expected. With the exception of that single
28800/NONE, it has so far (and I didn't mention this before, but on that
call, the initial tones were repeated, with what sounded like a massive
"clunk" between them, which could even indicate a local
electrical line hit of some sort).

FP-17 isn't just a file, it's a whole series of disks, which is one of the
reasons that I haven't bothered with it. The other reason is that I
currently have no obvious need for it. If it ain't broke...

PE> I've got a bug that pisses me off.

So sell it and buy a Courier then. Sorry. :)

PE> Whenever I open a window, with "minimize to desktop", it
doesn't show up on
PE> my desktop, unless I press ctrl-escape.

So it's not minimising to the desktop, right? Do you have the
"Desktop Settings, Window, Minimise to Desktop" selected (right
mouse button to bring up the WPS Settings menu)? If so, what about the
Settings for the actual session itself, as these can be set individually
for each session or app? I'd be very surprised if your version of Warp is
actually buggy in that regard.

From memory, I think the actual install defaults are "Minimise to
Viewer", or something like that, so you might need to do a global
change after all.

Regards, Bill
