JT> I'm curious to know what does happen with Power Basic, what
JT> version are we on at his time.... The last one I heard was
JT> 1.0, an upgrade from Turbo Basic of Borland.....
SL> You have been away for a while ;-) PB version 3.2 is the current
6 years exactly.... and in this domain, it's an eternity....
SL> version. As a former TB user I can attest that 3.2 is a big step
SL> up in overall functionality. As a TB owner you are eligible for
SL> their competitive upgrade program/price.
SL> If you have web access you can get all the gory details at
SL> "www.powerbasic.com". Amongst other things you will find there a
SL> "test drive" version of 3.2 (fully functional except you can't
SL> save source code) and a relatively new offering called
SL> "FirstBASIC" which is shareware, available for download at the
SL> site, and a somewhat repackaged PB version 2.x.
SL> Check it out! 3.2 even has pointers like C ;-) We've come a long
SL> way from 2 character variable names ;-)
I'll give it a try as soon as possible, my experience with
Power Basic along with Windows PB, not the windoze thing, the
window maker by ASP, has been a pleasure......
Thanks for the info's and salutations from Montreal....
