I've stacked a pair of those on UHF. Only had five directors, though.
The plans I used were published in 73 magazine back in 1979. I remember it
because I built them on a no-job budget, in my garage. The plans were for a
VHF antenna, of which I scaled the dimenions for use on UHF.
It was my idea to stack a pair of them and it worked out very well. Over the
years the PVC tubing I used for booms deteriated and the guys I used to hold
them up straight, frayed, but they were in the elements for 10 years and
never wavered.
I ran across the loop dimensions the other day while looking for something
else. If I can find the spacing info and the rest of the plans, I'll post
them..
... I just bought a cured ham. Wonder what it had?
