subject: Ribbon Embroidery

hello Sara-
Thank you for replying...I did go to Walmart and Joannes fabrics last
daturday , but I did not see any ribbon embroidery that I liked or that I
could afford! However, Joannes had all their crosstitch kits 50% off- I only
got 2 kits, one is a sampler that has a Noah's ark and says"Be prepared
remember it was not raining when Noah built the ark"I also bought a stamped
croosstitch it which is a "Welcome sampler" with flowers and the alphabet.I
worked on that for a bit, but went back tothe sampler.
I have only been doing X-stitch for 2 years now, I started with
stamped and only vetnured into counted about 6 months ago.I was always so
afraid of counted, it looked so hard, but it really isn't.I am hoping that
ribbon emdroidery will be the same.I am off this weekend and hope to go to
Ben Franklins to look around again.Wish me luck!
What are you wroking on now?Where in the bronx are you from? Most of
my family still lives there.Write soon!
    Sue
