The current system attempts to do the same thing; I was
under the impression that "weeding out" was something bad
that the current system does that Illich's system DIDN'T
do?
BTW, I haven't yet seen anything to indicate a "system" for
educating the masses inherent in what you've posted on
Illich... What, exactly, does he propose be done?
