Excuse me?  I think you have a typo there... The DRIVEN element(s) is/are
the one(s) which are electrically connected to the radio equipment.  The
element(s) in the desired direction of the main lobe is/are shorter than
the driven element(s) and are called director(s), and the one(s) on the
opposite side are longer than the driven element(s), and is/are
reflector(s). (I made that as inclusive of all types of antennas as
possible).
