You can convert between strings and integers.
i.e. number:=strtoint(edit1.text);
or you can use a TmaskEdit component to restrict the input.
something like:
number:=strtoint(trim(edit1.text));
should do it. The trim is needed to get rid of spaces.
If you look TMaskEdit up in the help files, they should help.
