1.0 was a bit rough but workable.
1.5 beta4 a tremendous improvement
1.5 gamma-1 (march field test) is probably as close to the final release as
you can get. The compatibility with Borland Pascal is almost perfect.
Whatever gliches are left can be corrected in a matter of seconds (like
changing the type of an argument from word to longint, etc). It all depends
on your style of coding, of course. But if you don't use inline code,
you're pretty safe.
you can get the g1 release (no doc or help) from the speed web site
(xs4all.nl/~atverm), it's about 1.5 meg.
There are still some bugs left in (i'm currently bumping into one :-<),
but it is WAY better than the 1.0 release.
