PE> Actually, it is quite strange that you are mucking around with

PE> doing that after a while, and moves into management,

it is possible to be in management and do techo stuff at the same time.

PE> or process control or something.

yuk.

PE> I have managed to keep my role to "C programmer", but in reality,

personally, i dont give a shit as long as it does the job, ive used

fortran ,cobol, basic, c, rexx, clist, awk, clipper, several assemblers,

and now delphi. they all have their uses, i wouldn't like to program for

windows in iso c, i could write 10 times the amount of code in delphi in

the same time.

 PE> Actually I hate all languages that aren't C. Even K&R C, which

PE> the dweebs in the Unix world seem to cling on to.

they are all just dialects, including iso.

PE> Come to think of it, I hate just about everything and everyone.

we all love you too paul.

PE> Still, while it's 5 mins 30 seconds to get to work, I won't nail

PE> my dog's head to the floor just yet. I'll certainly break a few

PE> pigeons necks though. I was walking by Tandy and was thinking of

PE> popping in and getting an opto-thingamebob. I wonder if they

PE> actually work in daylight, ie on my balcony? BFN. Paul

have i missed something, you were winging about it taking 4 hours each

way.

                        Keith
