It was from this work that I first learned that one could ENJOY an aching
tooth because that tooth BELONGED to the sufferer and his suffering was HIS
suffering. His groans for all to hear emphasized that!!! We can also enjoy
nursing our hatreds (our pet paranoias), (Robins and Post, _Political
Paranoia; The Psychopolitics of Hatred_, 1997. It may get worse before it
gets better.
